This was a live solo album recorded on tour in the USA in the middle of 2002. It contains 4 songs from a show in Portsmouth NH, 5 from Bethlehem PA and 2 from Falcon Ridge Folk Festival in Hillsdale NY.
Apart from the last song i eschewed my usual "getting an acoustic to sound like an electric" setup and just played into a Neumann microphone on the Portsmouth and Bethlehem shows, so this live recording documents a particularly stripped-back approach for some of these songs, giving the album it's own flavour amongst the various live recordings I've released through the years.
